Our dear neighbour collector of happy things is moving out of Centrio for new adventures and heights. Over the years, they have been our amazing neighbours who provide us with warmth and light.

Their shop resident cat, Misty will then clock out of her shop duty and her adventures in Centrio. Over the years, we didn’t expect our friendship to develop but it grow every single day with every little encounter.

Dear Mommyjade and Khoo Wei Yeng , thank you for the light you bring and the beautiful friendship. Both of you are truly our blessing and it was lovely to have both of you as our neighbour.

There are so many vows that I could make
Nothing weighs more than the action that I shall take

Both of them show love to each other in their very own way, go through the good and hard times with each other as a constant.

A came to Malaysia from the Philippines. Away from home, D wanted her to feel close to home at all times. The piece is design and crafted with details of rose, resonating with A’s mother’s name and in the style of pinã embroidery, Philippines cultural fabric, with lines individually carved over each petals and leaves like needle work and florentine carving to create the look of pinã woven fabric.

When we asked D, when do you know that you want to spend the rest of your life with A, he said he always knew and appreciates A. She blends into her family so naturally and his siblings always felt like she is a natural big sister to them. He knew he really wanted her to be in his life more than ever when he was emitted into hospital with severe burn and she travelled back and forth just to take care of him, clean his wounds and truly care for him. That makes him want to take care of her even more. D is a man of action. Love to him is to be there for A whenever she needs him, beyond promises, through actions, showing up everyday.

Once an island surrounded by waters and waves,
Upon this land stood a mountain dusted in sand.

Through time, the guardian bore witness to shifting tides,
Yet through ev’ry season, the people’s heart and pride remain.

With time, this land flourishes upon humble golden grains,
Continuously, blessed by hardworking hands, sun and rain.

With eyes set toward the future and feet rooted in heritage,
Continuously, this land thrives beneath a compassionate reign.



This piece crafted for Tunku S. Is designed with modernity in mind while keeping the roots of legacy and heritage.



Expanding the eyes across the horizon from Gunung Jerai, geometrical rows and columns of paddy fields are to be seen. As the time goes along the year, the field goes from mirror-like to lush green and glistening golden.



The photoshoot is done to capture the changing colours and landscape of the paddy fields as seen from Gunung Jerai.



The round spheres represent the human force that allows the paddy fields to prosper. A sign of appreciation towards the blessing of the land and the custodian who took care of the state.



While the lines and blocks represent the paddy field, custom texture is carved onto the pendant with specially made tools - to mimic the texture of artefact that stands at Lembah Bujang, Kedah historical site dated back to 5th - 14th century CE.



These set of special heirlooms for Che Puan Zaheeda and her children celebrate the long history and heritage of Kedah. From the unique gemstone from Gunung Jerai that witness the change of landscape and time to elements that represent the state and appreciation for the spirit of Kedah.

The back of Tunku Z’s pendant is carved with rice stalk that is curving downwards, to symbolise the humility to receive a full harvest.

It is the gratitude towards blessings received for a peaceful time and the gentle hearts that makes it possible.



The details are captured along the side of the bezel and at the back of the pendant.

Intricate carving of the rice stalk at the back, a full mountain range of Gunung Jerai along the side, holding the unusual gemstone from the mountain itself.

The element of rice is extremely personal to the state of Kedah.

Not only that Kedah is known as the rice bowl of Malaysia, the symbolism of the humble grain hail is close to heart.

There is an old Malay saying: “ikut resmi padi, semakin berisi semakin tunduk.” Which means the paddy reminds us that the more it is filled, the more humble is one’s stance.



Carving the rice stalk has been a dream. It is like sculpting on a canvas and carefully piercing and sawing the details like a traditional goldsmithing technique and French lace craftsmanship.

The motion is carefully synchronised between the hand-eye coordination and breathing. Making every movement delicate and precise.



The process itself celebrates the core of the humble grain.

Of what that is seem to be so simple is a collective labour of the environment and hands that brought the grain from the soil to one’s plate.



The wisdom of the wise Malay proverb captured in the precious craftsmanship and weight of gold.



There is another detail as we design the bail for Tunku Z.

The piece continues to show appreciation towards Kedah’s architecture and heritage with the bail capturing the arch of Albukhary Mosque.

Once an island surrounded by waters and waves,
Upon this land stood a mountain dusted in sand.

Through time, the guardian bore witness to shifting tides,

A special piece that we had the opportunity to craft for Che Puan Zaheeda with the gemstone that is from Gunung Jerai.

Gunung Jerai is once known as Pulau Jerai before the water in between the now mountain, then island receded and allow the large mass to now stand with the main land. From the gemstones, you can see the layers of sendiment soil that captures the history of water and earth activity. This tells a tale of geological history and non replicated timeline of history.

Back then, when travellers from different country travel to South East Asia by ships, old Kedah tend to be the first port that they dock at and the sight of Gunung Jerai then become the sight of safety from months at sea and signature of their destination.

This piece allow us to dive deep into history research. It was so mind opening especially to know that Kedah Tua is one of the largest and earliest civilization in South East Asia and it was even mentioned by Claudius Ptolemy, Greco-Roman mathematician and astronomer in his book back in 2 CE.

We crafted their wedding band a while ago and M came back for a piece for A’s birthday some time later. This piece is more to an heirloom symbolism that hold the steadfast value that their family holds. M is grateful to have A by his side, believing in his grand vision and ambition without doubt. She strategise with him, stand by him, each day marching closer to the vision that they truly believe in.

This family is extra special to us. We spoke of their love for each other, for their future generations, their passion and many more.

It is a family that stands with pride and dream, who act in virtue and speak the words of truth.

It is so lovely to see M and S put on the ring in person in our studio. Both of them are based in Germany and it is S’s first time visiting Malaysia, a country that is close to M’s heart.

Walking the road to his home, visiting places that he had so much memory in, trying out new places - a peek into a chapter of his world, his life.



Their pieces are based on their story and a beautiful poem that M has written to capture their journey.

The fae and dragon, the meeting of two different world.



And yet, they build a sanctuary that is precious. One that solely belongs to them.

A place that is sacred to the two of them.



This home that they build is full of trust, appreciation and support.

Both of them have great ambitions and yet so down to earth. In this life’s journey, they know they will have each other’s hand to have and to hold.



The proposal took place in the vast nature.

Hours of challenging car ride on a 4x4 and followed by hours of hike and walk in the muddy road and into the forest.

They then arrived in this river where M propose to S.

A moment belongs to them, as they exchanged their vow. With the creatures and history of nature as their witness.

They tied the knot in a castle with close friends and family who witnessed their matrimony.

Intimate, private and truly them.

Their love is not one that is to exhibit to the world but one they hold dear with respect, support and appreciation.

It is to remind them of the body of water where many great memories is made. It is to remind them that as they go after the grand vision of life, there is a person by their side who lift them up while keeping them grounded.

Teal sapphire, possibly one of our favourite gemstone to work with.

It is a tale of geography, each with signature imprint that tells their origin, unique structure and composition that makes every one mined and cut truly one of a kind.



The presence of titanium and iron during the formation gave teal sapphire its spectrum of colour. It is a mixture of green and blue where it further diversified into bluish green and greenish blue. Very often, yellow is present and makes the range even more complex and vibrant.



The exciting thing about teal sapphire is how it expresses itself under different lighting, showing the different facades every time, as if it is alive.



Usually teal sapphire are from Australia, Montana and Madagascar, Sri Lanka, Thailand and sometime extremely rare - Tanzania



Teal sapphire to us is like an ever changing ocean, lush forest during twilight, breathtaking southern and northern light, peacock feathers. It has characteristic of harmony and surprise at the same time.



It almost felt like the depiction of “one in a lifetime” expressed in colour form by nature and it takes very skilful lapidarist to facet the gemstone in preservation of the colour while granting sculpting platform for the light to dance within the globe. To notice the colour of the gemstone on the finger at any given time is a serendipitous moment meant for your eye and heart to take note, an art with the pigment of nature, work of a gemcutter and brought to life by the light at that given point of time and that time only.



We work with many gem cutter who mine and cut teal sapphire to source for a piece as close to client’s vision as possible. It is one of our most favourite gemstone to have and to hold since we first brought to our inventory in 2018 before malaysia market know and ask about it yet. Till date, it is still one of o

The beauty of all of our creations is when they are worn on their custodian’s hand.

The pieces are created with intention and purpose to capture their soul, journey, vision and sometimes a fleeting moment in this eternal timeline.

Our custodian are people who truly believe in our crafts, who are able to see the potential even before anything that tangible lay in front of them. They are souls that are brave, true to who they are as a person, introspective and most importantly they view time and the time they share with people and things matters to them with utter importance.

These are the hands who vow to themselves, people they love and dream that have. These are the hands of people who have their story take weight during their existence.
