They don’t see the emotional labour.
The pressure.
The mental calculation.
The responsibility of carrying an entire atmosphere on your shoulders.

As Alagas, we are part host, part therapist, part coordinator, part peacemaker and part family member — even when nobody officially gives us those titles.

And the truth is…
Many of us are fighting personal battles while helping others celebrate their happiest moments.

To every hardworking Alaga reading this:

I know the stress.
I know the exhaustion.
I know the silent tears after events.
I know the pressure to always “look composed.”

But please don’t give up.

Your work matters.
Your presence matters.
Your voice matters.

One day, people will understand that being an Alaga is not noise…
