Calm before the storm... Rough weather has been predicted to arrive later this afternoon. So we took the opportunity to catch a few randomly picked beauties on cam while the sun was still out!.
1) Amethyst carvings.
2) Multicolour sapphire.
3) Garnet trilliants.
4) Classic blue sapphire.
5) Last but definitely not least, one for the connoisseurs: Intense RED spinel 🔥.

Off to Mechelen, Belgium today for a visit to one of the friendliest jewellery design teams ever: Huis Simple comme Bonjour ✨💍! - As this team consists solely of absolute bling enthusiasts, this meeting quickly escalated into the most wonderful controlled chaos gemstone party 😂👍🏻.
Guys, thank you all for the lovely afternoon. It was great to see you again!

Whenever we show pictures taken during our client appointments we quite often receive messages saying: "Gosh I wish I could select pearls (or gemstones) directly from your boxes!".

To Schoonhoven today, THE place in the Netherlands where many goldsmiths start their professional journey!.
Very pleased to meet you team Wiewel Goudsmeden 🙌🏻 . After being a high end household name in Amsterdam for almost four decades, this second generation company relocated to Schoonhoven just a couple of years ago. Here they continue their work as jewellery designers, -makers and -restorers.
