A Pool In The Ocean group exhibition
The title is a metaphor to question the infinity of making possibility and the (almost) insignificant act of making on our own, yet we gather to feel stronger. The pool floats in an infinity of water, a group of members floating in the large ocean.

Fake Twins
Marguerite Bones and Sophia Zobel come together around the Merovingian bird, a creature known in the history of the Franks, whose territories once stretched across what we now call France, Belgium and parts of Netherlands.
Two scarf pins, made by chiselling and repoussé in fine silver and handmade Shibuichi alloy, the brooches mirror each other without ever becoming the same.
These birds adorn and protect, becoming both amulet and armour.

Fragments explores intimacy, identity and collectivity through the covering of the face. The headpiece obscures the wearer’s individual features, suggesting a temporary surrender of identity to a larger collective body. Created collaboratively, the work brings together Floor’s nylon thread cubes and Gabriella’s silver structure. Floor sent the cubes from Amsterdam, trusting Gabriella to find their place within the piece. While she developed the structure in Copenhagen independently, they allowed their distinct contributions to form something shared.
