TruAmsterdam brings together the brightest minds of the recruitment industry in the Netherlands. TruAmsterdam is organised twice per year.

Started in 2009 we've organised 10 sold out events, making it the biggest and most succesful UNconference of Europe. Every fall this event takes place at a venue in Amsterdam, to finish off with the biggest Recruitment Industry Dance Event (RIDE). For the spring-edition will be going on tour in The Netherlands. Upcoming May is heading to Utrecht.

TruRotterdam is a wrap. And what a great event it turned out to be. - Thanks again to all you lovely people for sharing your ideas, fears and prejudices about generations, fighting dragons, calming your breaths & thoughts, talking startup recruitment, bias, legislation, skills, AI, Recruitment marketing, ChatGPT's, Sourcing, and guessing occupations from shoes.

We hope we managed to startle you a little and make you Comfortably Uncomfortable. All while truly connecting to old and new friends, over laughter, a drink or a stroopwafel.

The energy was off the charts: we couldn't have done it without all of you! See you at the next one?

You got it. May 11th will see another great edition. Where you get to be up close and personal to share your ideas, meet likeminded sourcinggeeks, employer branding enthousiasts, fight dragons, and connect to the free spirits of recruitment Netherlands and beyond.

I can't believe the awesome people who've volunteered to kick start these discussions with you. Share innovations, be volnerable and learn from the crowd. Just have a look yourself!!! (there are a couple of gems there, and more to come!)

Wow. Just wow. Thank you everybody. We didnt really know what to expect for TruAmsterdam Spring 2020 yesterday. But I was blown away by the energy you brought. What an event we had: so many new faces and so many friends showed up to talk Diversity&Inclusion, building awesome recruitment teams, skill profiling and so much more. We laughed, did business, had a little drink, ate bitterballs on a boat, and drank GT's over the A'dam Skyline. Thank you everybody. It was indeed a special one.

TruAmsterdam wil be a special one, for many reasons.

As a precautionary measure we will NOT SHAKE HANDS,
- nor hug and try to keep physical contact limited. We STRONGLY ask all of our participants to respect this new houserule, so we can still have a great TruAmsterdam Spring 2020 and TA Live.

We suggest a Namaste greeting, but are open for any (no-contact) greetings 🖖🤙.

Corona UPDATE: Dear friends, TruAmsterdam is just a little over a week away. Of course we're watching the Corona-news closely and have discussed the risks involved. 😷

After consulting RIVM (Dutch Healthcare institute) there is currently NO reason to cancel TruAmsterdam Spring 2020 or related events. We will take measures (e.g. no handshaking) in line with RIVM advice. Of course we will monitor the news closely, re-evaluate daily and take additional measures if needed.

We emphasise everyone should evaluate their own personal situation and act accordingly. If you have additional concerns please let us know.
