MING 37.09 Bluefin — available from stock 🌊

A dive watch, completely rethought. Instead of a classic outer bezel, the Bluefin has a luminous sapphire dial that rotates on the inside, set with its own crown. The case is a compact 38 mm, yet it is water-resistant to 600 metres. Through the sapphire caseback you can see the automatic movement, which has a 50-hour power reserve. In 2024 it won the Sports Watch Prize at the GPHG in Geneva.

As authorized dealer of MING, Ace Jewelers presents the brand in our Amsterdam and London showrooms and online at AceJewelers.com. Visit us, or contact the Ace Concierge Team, and the Bluefin can be on your wrist straight away.

The sapphire exhibition back of the J.N. Shapiro Infinity Series "Radiant" reveals a masterclass in hand-finishing and mechanical elegance. From initial sketch to physical form. ✏️📐

The ALTO ART 02 offers a behind-the-scenes look into the meticulous design process of independent watchmaking. Resting above original technical drawings are 3D-printed prototype models, revealing the complex geometric facets and concentric stadium-like dial architecture before titanium machining begins.

Engineered to house an ultra-modern mechanical caliber, every angle and line is carefully sculpted to harmoniously blend light and structural precision.

Does seeing the design sketches make you appreciate an avant-garde timepiece even more? Share your thoughts below! 💬👇

Automotive dashboard design meets high-concept indie watchmaking. 🏎️✨

The Anton Suhanov Racer Jumping Hour GMT reinterprets driving instruments with remarkable technical creativity. Encased in a 39 mm stainless steel Reuleaux-polygon case, it displays twin blue-anodized retrograde subdials for local hours and minutes, flanked by a central 24-hour jumping GMT window at 12 o'clock and a date at 6 o'clock over a ruthenium guilloché plate.

At its core sits the automatic Calibre Su100.20, featuring a bespoke 172-component module engineered entirely by Suhanov to synchronize the jump-hour and retrograde indications seamlessly.

A bold mechanical dashboard statement that redefines dual-time functionality on the wrist.

🚨 New Watch Alert: Renaud Tixier unveils the Monday Skeleton 💙💚

The goldsmith's craft, brought to the Monday. A dialogue between two watchmakers united by a passion for contemporary watchmaking, begun in 2024 around the first Renaud Tixier “Monday,” now continues with a fully skeletonised version, offered in two editions limited to 15 pieces each.

Dominique Renaud's expertise in the design of mechanical movements and fine watchmaking complications is matched by a recognised mastery of skeletonisation. Indeed, it was during his early years in haute horlogerie that the young watchmaker forged this expertise in a workshop devoted to skeleton watches. Julien Tixier's own expertise is distinguished by a pursuit of artisanal perfection and finishing techniques of the highest order. A watchmaker and prototypist in the fullest sense of the term, he has a rare command of the watchmaker's craft to every detail, reflected in his particular attention to finishing, including bevelling, black polishing on titanium and the creation of inward angles, all by hand.

From this inspiration was born the Monday Skeleton. It builds on the original Monday, introduced in 2024, while taking Renaud Tixier’s first creation in a resolutely more contemporary direction.

Though the RVI2023 movement was never intended to become a skeleton movement, its openworked architecture may have hinted at what was to come. That is because every curve, every mechanical element, every silhouette seems to have been conceived from the outset with skeletonisation in mind.

That potential is now realised with the RVI2025: the new iteration fully embraces its skeletonised architecture, clearly revealing all 262 components, each finished and decorated by hand in keeping with the Maison’s philosophy.

The movement features a range of traditional decorative finishes, all executed at the Renaud Tixier workshops in the village of Tolochenaz (between Geneva and Lausanne in French-speaking Switzerland), including black polishing, bridge rounding, bevelling, Côtes de Genève, sunray finishing and circular graining. The keenest-eyed connoisseurs, meanwhile, will be able to spot the 238 perfectly finished inward angles, testament to meticulous watchmaking. The open caseback shows a decorative bridge over the barrel ratchet, engraved and chased by hand and featuring grand feu enamel, its tones harmonising with the colour of the piece.

While its aesthetic has been completely reworked by the engineers at Renaud Tixier, its revolutionary concept remains untouched: a patented mechanism that reinvents micro-rotor winding, delivering a major gain in efficiency. At the heart of the platinum micro-rotor – a space usually left empty – sits a flywheel coupled to a propulsion spring, nicknamed “the dancer.” This ingenious system converts even the slightest movements of the wrist into energy the calibre can harness. It draws its inspiration from energy-recovery technologies born in the automotive world and adapted to the scale of watchmaking with an uncompromising demand for precision. A constraint is thus turned into a resource, and what was once merely a void becomes the beating heart of an unprecedented architecture. Better still, this system does more than improve energy recovery: it also incorporates a declutching mechanism that protects the movement in the event of a shock.

The Monday Skeleton retains the lines of the original Monday. Housed in a 40.8 mm grey gold case, it is offered in two editions limited to 15 pieces each: one in green, the other in blue.

This chromatic duality runs through the piece's exterior elements. While the skeleton dial reveals the movement in all its architectural complexity, green or blue accents, depending on the edition, add depth to the piece: the satin-finished small-seconds counter, the skeletonised dauphine-style hour and minute hands, and the rehaut brush-finished at the periphery, with faceted appliques on its lower level and a white minute track on the upper. The same interplay of colour extends to the strap, hand-stitched in full-grain alligator leather.

Ace Jewelers are proud to be the exclusive retailer partners of Renaud Tixier in the Netherlands. To reserve your Monday Skeleton please contact our Ace Concierge Team.
