Modesto (v. Zirocco Blue) was sold in the November 2020 Trigon Auction. He has developed a very consistent results list and to top it off he won 🥇 the 1.45m class in Opglabeek this weekend!

His tag line has definitely been proven: ‘’The family has never disappointed and Modesto follows in line.’

🔹 As the son of two strongly inheriting top-level showjumpers, this exceptional talent has a bright future ahead.
🔹 His dam HH Donnatella competed at the WEG in Tryon under Daniela Stransky and achieved prominent Grand Prix and World Cup placings with several riders.
🔹 On top of that, Donnatella is the half-sister of none other than the highly successful stallion Tobago Z, who topped the WBFSH ranking in 2021.
🔹 Under Daniel Deusser this stallion won major Grands Prixs including those of Prague, Den Bosch, Oslo, Lyon and New York.
🔹 Tobago Z and HH Donnatella did not inherit their talent by chance. Their dam Whoopie C competed at the highest level with Yves Vanderhasselt, and her half-brother Aga Khanc also competed successfully in 1.60m classes.
🔹 Sire Cardento adds another strong layer of Olympic performance genes to the pedigree and he has produced exceptional offspring such as Katanga van het Dingeshof, Catch Me Not S, Iliana and Grand Slam VDL.

🔹 This future prospect is a half-brother to the international showjumper Cash Z, who made his 1.50m-level debut last year at the age of ten under Micael Bibes.
🔹 Condor Z’s granddam Berlini is a half-sister to the international 1.60m-level horse Ramon ridden by Dominique Hendrickx, and this direct damline has produced additional 1.60m performers such as International Popcorn of Denis Lynch and the multiple Grand Prix winner Espyrante ridden by Eiken Sato and Daniel Deusser.
🔹 Combined with this Belgian performance line is the Grand Prix stallion Carrera VDL, who was represented at this year’s EC by no fewer than three offspring.
🔹 Carrera VDL is asserting his influence as a sire through top level performers such as Mister Jup, Carabella vd Neyen Z and Komboy.
🔹 In the second generation the Grand Prix stallion Andiamo contributes his performance genes.

🔹 Through the influential Kannan, this Holsteiner line traces back to granddam Quillota LS, who competed internationally at 1.45m-level with Chloe Vranken.
🔹 She is a sibling to more than ten international showjumpers, and is the full sister of Maraca LS La Silla, who competed at the highest level with Scott Keach.
🔹 In the third generation this branch of Holsteiner line 4232 traces back to the international 1.60m-level mare Marimba la Silla, who can also be found in the damline of 1.50/1.60m horses such as Manglar LS la Silla, Postin LS la Silla, Maricucha LS and Chogui LS.
