From a solid brass base, meticulously laser-etched to define its structure, precision lays the foundation. What follows is less predictable: through a closely guarded oxidation process, copper compounds are set in motion: reacting, evolving, and settling into rich, expressive tones.
No two dials resolve the same. Each carries its own imprint of time, formed within its creation.
From the earliest LAB Series pieces to the fully realised LAB Series 1 and 1.24 - now sold out - this process has remained at the core. A continuous exploration of material, structure, and time itself.
With the LAB series 1S & GMT, that exploration moves forward.
With the LAB Series 1S, we return to our origins, subtly referencing the very first Ornament 1 with the integration of a Sub Second at 6 o’clock, where a radiating structure draws the eye toward the continuously sweeping hand. Alongside it, the LAB Series GMT expands this language across time zones, merging function with the same expressive materiality.
Once each dial reaches its desired state, it is sealed with lacquer to preserve its character for years to come, before being assembled into the watch, where material, craft, and design converge.
