With these new acquisitions, Burggraaf Global strengthens its foundation with direct performance genetics from G&H Calis — a loft that, in record time, stormed to the absolute top of Dutch pigeon racing.

National championships.
Olympiad pigeons.

Between 2019 and 2024, Gerard & Harold Calis created one of the most dominant performance periods in modern Dutch racing, producing an extraordinary series of National Ace Birds, Olympiad representatives, and mass winners at the highest level. Their pigeons didn’t just win on their own loft — they became cornerstones on leading lofts across Europe.

At the heart of this success lies a powerful breeding base:
Sangers × Koopman × Verbree, reinforced by elite influences such as Staron (Gebr. Leideman) and, above all, the legendary Vale Bulck — direct from Marcel Sangers’ immortal Angelina.
A hen that shaped generations of NPO winners, National Ace Birds, and Olympiad pigeons.

🌍 New reference received | Fatih Sarac – Great-grandchild of “Unseen Forces”

Proud to receive a new international reference from Fatih Saraç.

A pigeon bred from our bloodlines — a great-grandchild of “Unseen Forces” — achieved a Top 20 ranking at the Pyramids International One Loft Race in Egypt, competing under demanding conditions against a strong international field.

Results like these are never a coincidence. They are the outcome of careful selection, proven genetics, and a long-term breeding vision — built and refined over generations.

We sincerely thank Fatih Sarac for his trust and for sharing these results with us.

✨ Pickup Moment — Crimson Harry

This moment took place in the Netherlands — at home.
No travel story, no long distance.
Just a top pigeon we didn’t have to go far for —
right at GPS Auctions.

As so often, it started perfectly:
a warm welcome by Roland Kop,
a cup of coffee on the table,
and — of course — while picking up the pigeon,
one final polishing touch.
Exactly how it should be.

Earlier this afternoon, we picked up Crimson Harry —
a direct son of Red Harry (Jan Hooymans) —
🥇 World’s Best Pigeon Long Distance Belgium 2022,
paired to a top daughter of New Harry.
A carefully considered choice, now turned into reality.

One day before Christmas, we took our time,
caught up with Lex de Jongh,
and held Crimson Harry together.

A pigeon with natural quality —
something that cannot be trained.
His DNA speaks for itself, without needing proof.

These are the moments that matter:
not words, but feeling.
Not promise, but conviction.

The foundation is laid —
the rest will follow with time and trust,
racing toward 2026.

✨ Pickup Moment — Triple Crown Grijs

During our Belgian tour, we experienced one of those moments that remind us why we travel, observe, and select.

Holding the miracle of Goed Grijs in our hands was exactly that.
Not just a pigeon — but the embodiment of a bloodline that reshaped modern sprint racing.

A direct grandson immediately confirmed what generations of results already proved: balance, structure, flexibility and presence. Everything speaks of class.

Seeing his half-brother (same sire), also a first prize winner, only strengthened that conviction. Two direct confirmations from one sire line — rare, powerful, and deeply meaningful.

As a perfect finale, we shared this moment with Frederik Leliaert, capturing a memory that goes beyond pedigrees and results.
