What makes the design of these watches?

They are discovered, not designed. That is why people recognize it. They know it is something when they never saw it before. Discovering
This design did not come easy. From 1995 to 2007 I have been studying on watch designs from 1700 through to the current models. Starting point were the military watches from WWII. The first watch I immediately loved was the Omega RAF 1945 so that was the starting

point. Thousends of watches of many styles have been studied to find a particular feel for what the really amazing pieces are. References I further use are the iconic watches. Take care! These are both iconic from a design point of view, they also had very good marketing...Omega speedmaster, Rolex submariner, IWC portugieser chrono, Tag Heuer carrera, Panerai Marina Militare, Omega seamaster 300, Jaeger lecoultre reverso. No limits...
To achieve the desired result there was no limit. No limit in time to be exact. If it does not work great, it is not ready. So it took time indeed. If I wouldnt have found it, it would not be there. I would have bought some other great watch; probably you wouldnt have heard about that. The other steep demand
The other Go/NOGO is that I must want the watch I discovered. If I dont want it I am not going to make it. Also if I do want it I am going to make it. Cost no object. On my hit list are now: a dive watch, a dress watch, a chronograph. To be honest the dress watch is coming along...
