This artwork sat in my iPad for almost 2 years.

It was initially meant for a custom deck, but we did not proceed with it in the end. It was my favourite piece, and one that I felt most aligned with when creating.

But I’m not here to tell you about that story.

I want to share with you how this one illustration, even without the affirmation, gave me clarity on my journey as a creative and visionary, and the life I want to create.

During the sketching phase, there was something about this piece that really spoke to me. It felt like I was sketching a future vision of me and how I wanted life to really feel.. grounded, stillness, presence, and with trust and flow.

It felt like the sketch was telling me that I can create a life where I could grow without losing myself, where my creativity could bring light and hope into the world, and where my dreams were not just ideas in my mind, but something I could slowly nurture into reality.

And maybe that is why this piece stayed with me for so long. I would look at this piece and it would feel FLOW.

Before the words came, the message was already there. And even right now, I find myself struggling to put words into this story because sometimes I find it difficult to put a deep feeling into words.

It was only last might, as I sat with this again, that the words came: I am growing with intention and blooming with purpose.

This piece continues to inspire me personally to creating with intention, purpose, and meaning. Not just in my artwork, but with life as well. It reminds me of my values, my vision, and purpose that I live by.

I want to create with meaning.

I want to grow in a way that feels rooted in truth.

I want to bloom into a life that feels unique and beautifully mine.

And maybe this is your reminder too.

Throw all the 5-step, 10-step plans away because you really don’t need them.

What you need is a reminder that your life is filled with opportunities and possibilities.

Simply because you are alive. So things can still change. New doors can still open. Dreams can still grow bigger than your fear. And the life you keep dreaming of can still become the life you actually live.

Maybe that’s the whole adventure of life..

Not waiting until you feel completely ready or until every doubt disappears. You choosing to follow the light inside you anyway.

If the dream keeps calling you, maybe it’s not random. Maybe it’s showing you where to go next and what chapters await you to experience.

How did we even get to June so fast?! We’re already halfway through the year!

And I think this is usually the part where people quietly start questioning the dreams they were so excited about at the beginning of the year.

Not because you stopped wanting it. But because life happened.

Maybe progress feels slower than expected, so the confidence you started with is being replaced by doubt. Should I keep trying..? Should I keep pursuing this..?

That is exactly why I chose this artwork for June in the 2026 calendar.

Because June feels like the month where I feel like we all need a little reminder to come back to ourselves, our vision, and our direction.

Confidence is not about never questioning yourself.

It’s simply deciding that the dream you were excited about in the start of the year still matters, even if you feel unsure right now. It is choosing to keep going, learning to trust your own direction, even when other people don’t understand it, or sometimes, it’s not making any sense to you, but it FEELS right.

So if you needed a mid-year reminder, let this be it:

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.

I promised myself this year that whatever challenges that comes our way, we’ll get through it.

This one challenge I encountered early of May really dug deep into me. It felt personal. And it affected me deeply.

But I didn’t want to keep moping around in this low energy. So I did what I knew best. Stopped everything and drew. And we drew!

I will rise again and again is dedicated to you. A reminder to rise above and cross through that invisible wall that wants to stop you from moving ahead. Cross through it.

You have so much more to go through, so cross through so you can keep growing.

Funny enough the day I decided to share this pieces also the day I cross through yet another bureaucratic hurdle for an upcoming event in the UK.
