Japan, according to my jewellery box. 🇯🇵✨

I might play it fairly safe with my clothes, but my jewelry is where I like to have fun. More is more, sentimental pieces mixed with new ones, colour, charms, diamonds – basically anything that makes me happy when I put it on.

Your jewellery should bring you joy. It doesn’t need to match perfectly, follow rules, or make sense to anyone else.

Beautiful pearls, but with a little more personality. 💙

We thread these gorgeous, lustrous pearls on navy silk, added solid gold open end caps and a connector, then finished them with this spherical charm.

I chose the charm because I love how its shape echoes the pearls – everything feels cohesive, but just that little bit more unexpected and playful.

Because really, I think we could all use a little more whimsy in our lives. ❤️

And that’s a wrap on my pre-recorded Japan content! I’m heading home this afternoon and will be back in New Zealand tomorrow – rested 😂, inspired and very ready to get back to all your jewellery ✨

I always try to keep my reels short, because apparently that’s what the algorithm wants and none of us have any attention left 😅

But then this client turned up with a literal bag of jewellery, and there was no way I was cutting any of it.

Two strands that were never quite the right length, sitting unworn. A few carefully chosen beads, some colourful silk and new end caps later, they’re perfect in every way and a whole lot more playful. 🤍 Made for one of my very favourite clients. ✨

Dark pearls, dark silk, solid gold open end caps, and a sprinkle of celestial charms for a client who trusted me with her pearls. A star and a zodiac charm were absolutely the right call. ⭐

I’m off in Japan right now, but I pre-recorded a few things so you’re not stuck staring at an empty feed for two weeks. Consider this a little postcard from me to you. 💌

My highly sophisticated jewellery travel system 🤣

Every piece goes into its own little plastic bag so nothing tangles, scratches or rubs together, then everything gets tucked into one small pouch and stays in my handbag. WITH ME. AT ALL TIMES.

Compact, secure, and I can keep a slightly obsessive eye on it 🤣

And if you’re someone who puts your jewelry in your checked suitcase… What I don’t know can’t hurt me. ✈️ 💍

Still not quite over the fact that I got to do this one. ❤️

had the most incredible engagement ring, but it just wasn’t something she was reaching for. And jewellery this good deserves to be worn.

She has such a cool, individual style and loves piling her jewellery on, so the brief was really about making the ring feel more her.

And if you know me, you know I’m ALWAYS TEAM BEZEL. Even with a seriously substantial stone, a bezel somehow makes everything feel cooler, more relaxed and just a little bit edgier.

The result? Same incredible diamond. Completely different attitude.

Possibly one of the most exciting transformations I’ve ever had the privilege of working on. And yes, handing this one back was particularly painful 🤣 ❤️
