Curious about the NAD+ Pen? Let’s start with the facts. 🔬

NAD+ is a coenzyme your body naturally makes. It helps your cells release energy from nutrients and takes part in cellular maintenance.

Its role in the body and the benefits of a particular NAD+ product are different questions.

The formulation, how it is administered and the evidence behind it all matter. Research on oral NAD+ precursors is also different from research on a pen.

At SKN Aesthetics NZ, we want you to feel informed and comfortable asking questions before considering a treatment.

Save this post, and send us your questions about the NAD+ Pen. 🤍

A little downtime. A little more attention to your skin. 🤍

A facial is a chance to pause, enjoy a cleanse and receive care tailored to your skin’s needs. It’s also an opportunity to ask questions and understand your treatment options.

Not sure which facial to choose? Message us with your skin goals. We’ll help you explore where to start.

And if you’ve been curious about NAD+, keep an eye on our next post as we look at the facts and questions worth asking. ✨

Your skin has a battery. It's called NAD+, and it runs low as we age. 🔋✨

Less NAD+ can mean less energy, more brain fog, and skin that looks tired even when you're not.

The good news?NAD+ pen is available at the clinic; book your session and give your cells (and your glow) a real reset.

Booking a Carbon Laser Peel before a big event? Timing actually matters and this could save you from a very avoidable mistake. 👇

Here's the good news first. Carbon Laser Peel, also known as the Hollywood Peel, is one of the few treatments you can actually do close to an event. Non-invasive, no numbing cream, and most clients walk out with an immediate glow brighter skin, refined pores, and smoother texture right after the session.

But here's what most people don't know.

In the first few hours, your skin may look slightly flushed. Completely normal, it just had a deep laser exfoliation. Book it too close to your event though and that temporary redness might show up in your photos.

The sweet spot: book 5 to 7 days before your event. First timers: 2 to 3 weeks out so you know exactly how your skin responds before the big day.

And in the 24 to 48 hours after your session skip the SPF-free sun, heavy makeup, retinol, gym sessions, and hot showers. Treat your skin gently and it will reward you.

It's one of the best pre-event skin rejuvenation treatments in Auckland for a reason. Swipe through for the full breakdown.

The most important part of your facial may happen before the cleanser even touches your skin. 👀

It's the skin analysis. And it's what makes every single SKN facial completely different from the last.

Before any treatment starts at our skin clinic in Otahuhu, Auckland, we take a proper look at what your skin actually needs right now. Dehydrated? Congested? Uneven tone? Sensitivity? Those answers shape everything which facial you get, how we customise it, and what your skin walks away with.

Classic, Hydra Glow, Brightening, Collagen four facials, all personalised.

Not sure which one suits your skin? Book a skin analysis in Auckland at SKN Aesthetics NZ and we'll figure it out before we even start.
