I’ve had a lot on my plate lately & haven’t been able to devote much time to sculpting, but I emerged from my wintery cocoon to deliver these critters to the wonderful, stunning Feather from , a venue I love so much as both a musician & a music addict. We are so lucky to have Feather (and Nick!) at the helm of Christchurch’s beloved 🖤

I was feeling a very rare green vibe today & was delighted to discover the earrings I made in winter to compliment my favourite turquoise cardigan matched my new skirt perfectly! My Irish blood must have been whispering to me because it turns out today is St Patricks Day ☘️
He may have driven out the snakes, but I love them 🥰 funnily enough, New Zealand/Aotearoa also has no snakes - we’re one of only a couple of countries that don’t! Luckily I got to see them & hold a baby python when I lived in Thailand, but I wish I could have a pet snake 🥺

I have an exciting announcement to make. On the 31st of March, I will be participating in an art exhibition; my first. I always wanted to be an artist, but I was never very skilled at drawing or painting. I’m absolutely ecstatic to be at a point in my sculptural work that I can participate in a show, it means so much to me & it feels like a dream. Here’s a sneak peak of one of my works that’s about to be baked, then sanded & painted with UV resin. I’m so very excited to see how this piece, based on the Greek mythological tale of the golden ram, turns out when finished.

I hope to see some of you at the official opening on Monday the 31st, thank you so much to 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

So glad I could capture a lil sparkle on these sea-themed creations before they were attached to keychains & sent off to an absolutely delightful customer 🥰

I used opal clay mixed in to some of these to give the colours a little extra pop - each keyring features a cockle shell & a shell or starfish. I was inspired by the colours of a paua shell for this collection; thanks to an image from the buyer. It was an extra special collaboration; an absolute honour & pleasure to work on 💚💜💙

So happy with how these earrings for my lovely & beautiful friend turned out! Her mother contacted me to make an ouroboros pendant & matching earrings for Christmas ❤️

I had to be sneaky to get an idea of what colours would like, the suggestion of teal & oxblood with gold accents lead to this lush trio. I had a lot of fun mixing the colours to satisfaction & would never have thought about this combo; one of the reasons I adore commission work so much 🥰

I’ve been so busy working on a new collection that I haven’t had much chance to photograph upload anything, here’s a vibrant cat keyring I just finished for my father in law, a famous NZ cartoonist with an enormous ginger tom called Ninja, so I wanted it to look as cartoony as possible!

I’m actually quite smitten with this catto & will have a hard time saying goodbye 🥹🧡
