Originally from Germany and married to a Kiwi, I arrived in Wellington in 1999 to raise my family here in New Zealand. As part of my training as a SFX Makeup Artist, I learned to work with clay, sculpting to produce prosthetics, creating character looks for stage and Screen. After many years in the industry and later on teaching Makeup Artistry at Weltec, I relocated to Coromandel in 2022 to
follow my passion for shaping clay and creating art pieces as well as crafting Cuddly Monsters, crocheted one-of-a-kind soft toys for the young at heart. Working in clay - recognising & expressing the Divine in shape and form is what heartblood art is all about. I channel energy & emotions, with a strong spiritual & earth-based connection, to create my art pieces. My art is heart centered, designed to resonate deeply within. I use forms & postures inspired by the grace of dancers and Yogis and ancient goddesses to shape unique Altar Deities and pendants to treasure. May they touch you and bring you peace “
