I recently made this for a friend. She supplied the “gem” which is an ancient mammoth ivory cabochon she snapped up from a fascinating collector/jeweller on a recent holiday. She really is a great treasure hunter! I was lucky enough to design the final ring for her and I’m pretty chuffed with how it came out.
