Trying new things is always a little daunting, this weekend will be the first ever entry into a bike race/event for the Clan Leader, Gordon.

Dabbling with the 10km to test the waters and more importantly skillset, it will hopefully be a fun couple of hours exploring the Highlander MTB by Whaka100 at Whakarewarewa.

Hopefully the weather improves for Sunday, otherwise it will be just like riding in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Scotland. 😂

You can tell the client has been pushing hard on their recent mountain biking adventures when their chainring looks like this.

Apparently, despite the missing section, they were still able to ride out of the trails maintaining enough tension in the chain.

New chain ring supplied and fitted, and some new front brake pads installed too, all ready for another weekend of trails adventures.

We recently had the privilege to work on this amazing bike for a client, installing Shimano Di2 electronic shifting and making it road ready again.

This CRUZBIKE Silvio Recumbent bike is an amazing piece of cycle engineering, setting speed record across the globe (there is one in progress right now!!)
Unlike many bikes, the alternative configuration of riding, pedal and steering position makes for a more powerful and faster ride.

Hopefully this turns up and is a case of mistaken identity for someones bike.

Many schools (including Hukanui Primary School) have their cycle and scooter storage behind their locked gates, but with an increasing number of thefts across the city it is a timely reminder to ensure bikes and scooters are locked securely (even in school grounds).

This prevents both purposeful or accidental taking of a bike/scooter and with lots of lock options out there there is something for everyone and their budget.
