It's been a big few weeks revamping the gallery into a new space for you to view ART & LOCAL GOODS.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me over the 11 years to this day. I started in the Mt Hutt Helicopters to display my work and thought a bit of giftware would help revenue, and it did 😊 The crew from Hammer Hardware thought I might like to go to the Auckland Gift Fair, what an adventure that started, so many gifts to choose from and away I went.
As my customers know I had alot in my little wee shop, now occupied by Rumour Has It. Good work ladies, looking fabulous 🩷
The opportunity to move into my new space, with the wall space for my art was very exciting. I moved in November and set up with my giftware, soon to find I wanted to pursue with my passion of painting but wasn't finding the time due to the giftware, it's the ordering, accounts and constantly cleaning and straightening jewellery (I'm not going to miss that).
With a few life changes arising, I decided it's time to for change. 😊
I'm keeping with Methven local goods and NZ made, so still shopping to be had, but overall my focus is on my art. If you would like to head over and follow me on Artist Karen Smith where I will have my art, go for it.
