Inspired by the last Manaia Aaron carved, this piece has taken on a whole different character. 🤎

The first Manaia we posted on Sunday had a softer, smoother shape, with gentle curves that felt perfectly suited to the lovely woman it was purchased for, particularly with those stunning pyrite inclusions. This one is bolder, more rugged, and full of presence. Its stronger lines and more defined features give it a powerful, almost fierce character, with a rawness that makes it feel grounded and full of strength.

For those unfamiliar, the Manaia is often recognised by its distinctive, bird-like profile, while also encompassing human & fish-like features. It is traditionally regarded as a spiritual guardian, believed to act as a protector against negative influences and to guide and watch over the wearer. It is also associated with the connection between the spiritual and physical worlds.
