We were approached to create an incredibly meaningful piece for
Margaret Pepper of Pepper Construction - in celebration of their 90th Anniversary.

The design represents Mrs Pepper being the backbone of three generations of the Pepper family business: a symbol of strength and continuity, with Mrs Pepper having lived through and been part of all three generations of the company’s story.

At its heart, this piece speaks to longevity — not just in business, but in values - family, community, loyalty and hard work

It was an honour to create something so meaningful for a family and business with such a proud legacy.

Congratulations on 90 years in business.

May is "Emerald Month' and these are some of the emerald rings we currently have in stock
Also, 3 things you may not know about these beautiful gemstones.

1. Emeralds almost always have natural inclusions.
Unlike diamonds, emeralds are expected to have little internal markings. Jewellers often call these a “jardin,” which means garden in French — because the inclusions can look like tiny leaves, moss, or vines inside the stone.

2. The deeper green isn’t always the most valuable.
A beautiful emerald needs richness, glow, and life. If the green is too dark, it can lose its sparkle. The most loved emeralds have that vivid, luminous green that still lets light move through the stone.

3. Cleopatra was famously obsessed with emeralds.
Emeralds were treasured in ancient Egypt, and Cleopatra was known for wearing them and gifting them as symbols of power, beauty, and status. So when you wear an emerald, you’re wearing a gemstone with a very regal history.
