To say that 2026 has been a tough year would be a gross understatement; 2026 has been the absolute worst. We had the massive storms in January and February that absolutely destroyed our road, flooded our place and left our community in a somber mood. There has been alot to deal with on a personal level that just added to the stress. Nearly 8 months of traveling a goat track to get to town started to take a toll mentally. On top of that the price of the movements that are used by Rook Time Pieces more than doubled š¢ 2026 has been my greatest adversary so far. But there is a silver lining. After taking some time out with My FiancĆ©e down the South Island and in Cairns there is light at the end of the tunnel. Rook Timepieces will continue! However moving forward we will shift from the 24 Jewel Seiko NH series to the 25 Jewel ETA series movements. The watch at the end is the last watch I make using NH series (unless requested.) Its been a hell of a ride and the next chapter promises to just as exciting. Thank You everyone that has supported me along this journey! The Future Looks Bright!
