🎣 ONE FOR THE KIDS! 🎣

It’s nearly time to secure a spot for the hugely popular Kids Fishing Day 2026!

Registrations open at 9am Wednesday, 21st October at Oamaru Sports & Outdoors Ltd and with just 200 places available, they won’t hang around for long!

This is such a great local event and a brilliant opportunity for kids to get out, have some fun and experience a day of fishing. If your family hasn’t been before, it’s definitely one to put on the calendar.

A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes by The Big O Oamaru to make this day happen, and we are chuffed to be supporting the event again this year. 🏆🎣❤️

So set the alarm, grab a coffee and join the queue early on Wednesday 21st ☕️

Good luck to everyone hoping to nab one of those 200 spots!

✨ Did you know that Pearl is the birthstone for June? ✨

And did you know oysters create pearls as a way of protecting themselves?

When something tiny becomes trapped inside an oyster, it coats the irritant with layers of nacre – the beautiful substance that lines the inside of its shell. Over time, these layers build up to form a pearl.

Nature’s way of turning an irritation into something beautiful. 🤍🦪

✨ Reimagined. Remodelled. Ready to be loved again ✨

There’s something incredibly special about giving old jewellery a brand new story 💛

This beautiful yellow gold Sapphire & Diamond ring was custom remodelled by our talented jewellery team using our client’s own gold and stones. Designed as a modern scatter-style band, it combines elegance with everyday practicality - solid, comfortable to wear, and made to last.

The finished piece is both timeless and unique, transforming unworn sentimental jewellery into something truly special that can be worn and enjoyed every day ✨

If you have jewellery tucked away in a drawer, we’d love to help you redesign it into a piece you’ll fall in love with all over again.
