One of the things I love most about Google Photos is the memories that pop up on my phone each day. ❤️ Those little reminders of the good times, special moments, and just how far you've come in life.

It seems only fitting that stepping into my new role as Stallholder Relations Manager at the Papamoa Community Market coincides with my 4-year anniversary of being part of this wonderful market family! 🥰

Looking back, I'm incredibly proud of how much my little business has grown, but equally proud to see how our amazing Community Market has flourished over the years.

What started as a place to share my creations has become so much more. It's a community filled with wonderful people, friendships, laughter, support, and a shared passion for shopping local. 💜

I'm excited for this next chapter and can't wait to see all the positive changes and growth the next four years will bring!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. Whether you've purchased something, stopped for a chat, shared a kind word, or simply cheered me on, you've all been part of my journey, and I'm so grateful. 🙂

I'm incredibly honoured and proud to be stepping into this new role at the Papamoa Community Market, my happy place every Sunday ❤️

Our little market is growing, and Sandy is stepping into a new role!

Carmen here. I’m delighted to introduce Sandy from Chitten & Co as our new Stallholder Relations Manager.

First, thank you to our loyal customers and visitors for helping our market become what it is, and to our stallholders for standing with us through thick and thin. We wouldn’t be here without you.

With more applications coming in and a growing waiting list, we need more time to support our stallholders and plan for the future. While everyone is watching their spending, growth needs to be thoughtful and sustainable, giving new businesses opportunities while looking after those already here.

Many of you know Sandy. She has been a pillar of this market and our community since the beginning, before Te Manawa ō Pāpāmoa School became our home.

Sandy will support stallholders, help uphold our rules so the market runs fairly and smoothly, and assess new applications and our waiting list with the market’s balance in mind.

As you know, I also work full time. Having Sandy alongside me will make a huge difference, giving our stallholders more attention and helping us build a strong future for the market.

Please join me in welcoming Sandy. It means so much to have someone who has helped build this community now helping care for its future.

We've got a great variety of handmade crafts, fresh produce, conserves and baked goods. Get your seedlings from $1 and fresh cut orchids. Delicious food and hot coffee and facepainting for the kids. Treats for your pooch and fundraising for the Girl Guides.

We've got a great range of stalls full of handmade products perfect for Christmas, fresh produce and preserves, local honey, baked goods, plenty of delicious food options, treats for your pooch (yes we are dog friendly) and 2 fantastic playgrounds for the kids.
