✨ Meet the maker 👋🏼 It’s been awhile since I did a proper intro, so… Hey! I’m Ashley, the one behind the keepsakes, the emails, the socials, and everything Spilt Milk. 🩷

I started The Spilt Milk Co. almost 8 years ago, with two little toddlers and pregnant with my third girl. My biz journey started with crafting during nap times & nights, while taking a few pics for the gram, sharing snippets of mum life alongside keepsakes as my business, audience, and babies all grew up together in my home town, Taranaki. 🥹

I’ll never forget breastfeeding my newborn on the couch while watching YouTube videos on “how to build a website from scratch” and creating everything myself *very slowly* in amongst motherhood.

⏩ Fast forward to 2026, I’ve now got 3 big school girls, get to craft during daylight hours (hallelujah 🙌🏼☀️), and have a dedicated studio in Papamoa where you can visit me to try on keepsakes and share your stories. ✨ I’ve always loved hearing what each keepsake represents, and being able to interpret stories into different colours, styles and designs. 😍

DNA keepsakes at a cheaper price point? You got it. 😎

I've had a massive amount of families message me over the past 12 months saying how much they would love a keepsake to celebrate a special event, to have a little momento of a fur baby they've said goodbye to, or to have a precious memorial piece made...

But sterling silver and solid gold are too expensive.

And I totally get it. Not everyone can, or wants to, spend $1000 on a keepsake. But that doesn't mean their memories, loved ones, or precious inclusions mean any less, or should sit hidden away.

So I've launched a small curated collection of keepsake basics, in stainless steel, all under $200. ✨

I want you to be able to hold your most precious memories close and not have to wait months or years to save up for it.
I want the sensitive girlies to have an option when precious metals don't agree with them.
