Looking back at these moments, I had no idea what motherhood was about to teach me.
Growing, carrying, becoming; not just physically, but in every way.
Becoming a mother has also made me see my own mum in a completely different light. Seeing a photo of her pregnant with my little sister now carries so much more meaning, a deeper understanding, gratitude, and admiration for everything she held and carried before I ever knew it.
Motherhood has been the hardest and most rewarding journey of my life. It has stretched me, softened me, and shaped me into a better version of myself.
To all the mums; past, present, and becoming; your strength, love, and resilience never go unnoticed. You are extraordinary.
