Keeping it simple with this silver filled wire ring and tiny black spinel bead.
I made this very quickly this evening 😅
I was trying to remember how I did it before. Hmmmm🤔
I didn’t quite get it right the first time so I had to undo a bit.
You will see a kink in the wire at one point 😬
Anyway, I got it sorted 💍
I now just have to polish out the little scratches..

I don’t usually use drilled stones, apart from beads.
So what do you do with a gorgeous labradorite tear drop with a drilled hole?
Turn it upside down and use the hole to create a beautiful Koru or swirl or curl 🤩
I didn’t realise the colour of this labradorite was so pretty until I stated working with it today.

No wrapping today.
Instead I went out for a walk in the forest with friends. We walked to a river and picked up rubbish and even though we couldn’t take it all, at least there was less.
AND no matter where I go I am always wearing jewellery! This is what I had on today!

Out with the old and in with the new!
I have had this gorgeous piece of amber for years.
I made a basic bail way before I learned wire wrapping.
I thought it was time to give a new look to an old piece … because I can 😂
As this was drilled, I have just made another bail rather than wrapping the amber.

These arrived this morning from .nz - thank you 🙏
It is always so exciting getting crystals in the mail and opening them up and seeing their beauty.
And then thinking about what to make with them all.
Green aventurine, rose quartz, amethyst and tiger’s eye points. A gorgeous, pale blue aquamarine and two pretty labradorite 🤩

Keeping it simple❣️
You don’t have to use a round bead to make a ring.
Gemstone chip beads can be a great shape and look really neat! Here, I am using parawire tarnish resistant, 20 gauge copper wire and a coloured howlite chip bead.
See if you can catch a glimpse of the Amethyst one I am wearing alongside this blue howlite one at the end of the reel. It is such a fabulous shape!
