Welcome to our family-owned and operated boutique jewellery store and on-site workshop, featuring working Master Jeweller, Trond.

Located in the heart of beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand. Gifted by nature and crafted by hand Goldfields Jewellers,
The Mall, 26 Ballarat Street,
Queenstown, New Zealand. A family-owned and operated jewellery and retail store with an on-site workshop. It's here, you will find Master Jeweller, Trond at his bench and Anna running the shop floor, together with their experienced staff; they are happy to chat and to give advice. Trond trained at the Swedish Jewellers School and then qualified as a Master Jeweller. He worked in Scandinavia for a few years before venturing to explore and travel the world. Whilst travelling, he indulged in his love of jewellery by making and selling his ranges in 18 countries. A wedding set and her late Mum’s inherited gold, repurposed into something new, with three new diamonds added to represent her three daughters. ✨

✨️WORKSHOP WEDNESDAY✨️

And it’s not always sparkly gemstones that Trond is working with.
Today I discovered him threading an assortment of gold, rose quartz, boulder opal, lapis and pounamu beads to create a very special custom necklace.

Our client started by choosing this beautiful free form opal from our collection of unset stones.
Then came the fun part, selecting the beads from Trond’s rather large collection to make the necklace.

Now, one bead at a time, it’s all coming together.

This is what we love about custom jewellery. Sometimes it starts with a gemstone that simply catches your eye, and from there we create something completely your own.

We’ll show you the finished piece soon. ✨
