WEDDINGS

Charlemagne Lodge offers a beautiful romantic backdrop for your Tauranga wedding. Charlemagne Lodge is available for your wedding photos inside or out. The adjoining scenic reserve where guests can explore is ideal for wedding photos, as is the orchard. The Kaimai ranges in the distance and the rural outlook in the foreground make for a gorgeous panoramic setting. In the evenings enjoy

awe-inspiring sunsets over the majestic ranges to the west. The large patio area lends itself to casual BBQ events whilst the function room has plenty of space for a more formal wedding breakfast or dinner with seating for up to 120 guests. Waiting and bar staff are provided, and our fully licensed premises allows us to offer you a full range of bar options. Catering options are also wide to fit any taste, from buffet to full silver service dinners. We can offer assistance in sourcing everything from the Celebrant to the DJ we can even arrange it all for you. Our aim is to offer you flexibility in order to tailor-make your ideal wedding according to your personal taste and budget. An additional benefit of holding your wedding at Charlemagne Lodge is that accommodation can be reserved for time before and after the wedding, allowing the bride to prepare in a relaxed, stress free environment and when your day has ended you can retire to the Lodge. Celebration lunches can be arranged for the day following the Wedding, giving you time to fully enjoy reflections on your special day with family and friends in a relaxed stress free environment. We aim to provide tailor-made and flexible events to suit your personal taste and style. It is our pleasure to discuss any additional requests, ideas and themes that you may desire to enhance your special day. ANNOUNCEMENT
GATHERING NUMBERS AT EVENTS

The team at Charlemagne Lodge are keeping a close eye on the information released by the New Zealand Authorities around the COVID-19 and gatherings.

Even though we have capacity for 150 people onsite we want to be proactive and limit any indoor events to a maximum of 50 people (and our prices will reflect this change), just in case there are any further restrictions on event numbers. We do have our lovely outdoor areas that we can allow larger numbers, but we will work with each event booking on a case by case basis.

This will continue for the foreseeable future or until advised by New Zealand Authorities.

We have reviewed and updated our cleaning and sanitising plan for our site to ensure each area is cleaned more frequently and with extra care – especially on high contact surfaces like the kitchen, our counters, door handles, seating, tables and bathroom taps. The entire property has had a thorough head to toe clean in order to make sure your health and safety is first priority.

This is a time of a lot of change that’s likely to create some anxiety, which could be particularly hard for vulnerable people in our communities.

If you know someone who’s on their own, or who might be feeling stressed or alone at this uncertain time, please reach out to them, check they’re OK, see if they need anything – let them know you’re there. It is a time when it is important to think of our wider community as we focus on stopping the spread of COVID-19.

Charlemagne Lodge is under new Management.

We farewell the lovely Faith (and her hubby Nick and kids) as they set off on new adventures. They left Charlemagne Lodge in tip top order so we’re getting set to open the doors again soon!
