Wow! What a romantic setting for a proposal! 😍 Massive congratulations to Lily-Rose and Todd on their recent engagement. Brent really enjoyed getting to know this lovely couple during the design and manufacturing process. Lily-Rose’s ring features a beautiful cushion-cut diamond in a timeless four claw setting, and as you can see in the photos, looks amazing on her finger!! 🥰🫶💍

Congratulations are in order! Another successful engagement for a lovely couple 💞. Recently completed by Brent, this show-stopping engagement ring features a beautiful 3ct oval centre diamond and diamond-set band. Fully handcrafted in 18ct gold, it looks absolutely stunning on the finger 🤩.

Another project complete and another example of how successful remaking can be! Handmade by Brent for a lovely client and featuring a beautiful sapphire and diamonds, this ring looks striking on the finger. Rub setting the sapphire and then positioning the diamonds in a triangular shape, along with a band that tapers in from the centre stone are all stylistic choices that work together to make this ring special 😍.

On Sunday, it will be 100 years since the birth of local legend, Phar Lap. We were asked by the South Canterbury Racing Club to design a piece to commemorate this important occasion so Brent has designed this awesome sterling silver lapel pin. It is available for purchase in store at The Ringmakers, or at Sunday’s celebrations at Phar Lap Raceway (on the 4th of October), for $99 🐎.

Happy South Canterbury Anniversary Day! We are making the most of the opportunity to be out and about this weekend, so the shop will remain closed for the public holiday today, but everything is back to normal tomorrow. Fingers crossed for better weather today 🤞.

We thought we’d end the week with a hiss and roar so here is something a little different to the usual. This elegant custom ring was handmade by Brent to the customer’s specifications: it is fully 18ct and has ruby eyes, plus a flowing form which hugs the finger beautifully 🐍.
