IS IT YOUR MISSION OR YOUR PASSION?
We often talk about what we feel is our mission here on Earth, and also think about our passions - the things that make us light up and fizz with excitement.
These terms may seem interchangeable, but really they are separate soul qualities.
Before we come into a body and are born here on Earth, we will discuss with guides and advisors in Spirit what we should aim to do here to make a difference in our lives and the lives of others.
Our soul is multifaceted after endless other life experiences, so we have aquired various qualities that can be useful and very needed here on Earth.
Courage, wisdom, compassion, leadership, wayshowing and discernment for instance, can make for powerful opportunities to support, educate or way-show for humanity.
If you have identified particular traits that kept showing up in other lives, then these will follow into this new one and you will sense this urge to use these skills again, growing up feeling a sense of purpose or drive from an early age.
This can keep you feeling restless and urgent about âdoing something about itâ when youâre faced with a challenge you are supposed to align with.
This is your soul mission.
Passions are something else.
They tend to be activities or talents that you may already be very used to having in previous lives and now in this one, you find great pleasure, comfort and enjoyment at discovering what youâre really good at.. not realising that you already have mastered and âlivedâ these activities perhaps many times before.
Itâs these passions that keep you going in life, and what you will often turn to when things arenât easy, because you will feel they help you forget your problems or take you into your happy place.
If you can combine your soul mission WITH your passion in life, then you really are winning and can do some powerful things with both skills.
Examples are:
Using a talent for technology and sharing that with people who need help with understanding it and using it to improve their own lives.
Being a confident, courageous advocate for those who are experiencing injustice, abuse or other forms of being de-valued.
Being a good baker or cook and sharing your food with those that need it.
Tutoring others in subjects that you find easy and very interesting, when they are struggling.
Being a creator of some sort - sewing, crafts, woodwork etc, and helping others also become good at these things.
Using your natural counselling gifts and wisom to be there for others who are vulnerable and hurting.
Being a gifted herbalist who knows a great deal about plant medicine to help heal others.
Writing to educate, enlighten or entertain others to bring them joy and hope and maybe increase their knowledge too.
So many ways that you can now hopefully see in yourself where your own soul mission and soul passions can dove tail to make you happy and also enrich the lives of others!
What are your soul superpowers?
