✨ From Otago Goldfields to a One-of-a-Kind Pendant ✨

Some pieces of jewellery carry more than beauty — they carry a story 🤗
Our customer brought us a collection of natural gold that had been personally found in the historic goldfields of Otago, New Zealand's South Island. Rather than leaving this precious treasure tucked away, he wanted to transform it into something he could wear and enjoy every day.
The journey began by having the raw gold professionally refined and transformed into pure gold. From there, the gold was carefully cast into a solid gold nugget-style bar, preserving the character and spirit of its goldfield origins.
Our jeweller then handcrafted the piece into a stunning pendant, engraving it to honour its birthplace in the Otago goldfields. To complete the design, a custom solid gold bail was added, allowing it to be worn proudly on a gold chain.
The result is a truly unique heirloom — a piece that tells the story of New Zealand's rich gold-mining heritage and the customer's own connection to the land where the gold was discovered.
