Only 9 weeks until our end-of-year shutdown! The end of the year is approaching fast, and our Wellington workshop is already getting busy.

Whether you’re planning a beautiful custom piece or have jewellery that needs repairing, now is the time to get it organised.

As a small team of manufacturing jewellers, we take pride in crafting and repairing everything right here in our Wellington workshop. Quality takes time, and with our annual summer shutdown approaching, we don't want anyone to miss out.

Our 2026 end-of-year cut-off dates:

- Custom jewellery: Quotes must be accepted by 23rd October
- Jewellery repairs: Drop-off by 24th November

These are our final cut-off dates for guaranteed completion before we close for our summer break. We'd love to help you get your jewellery ready before the year is out.

How long does a jewellery repair take? For most repairs, we ask you to allow around five weeks. We know that can feel like a while when you’re waiting to get a favourite piece back, but there’s a good reason.

We’re a small team of manufacturing jewellers, and your jewellery is repaired by skilled hands right here in our Wellington workshop. Nothing is sent overseas. Your piece stays securely with us while we give it the time and care it deserves.

Have something that needs repairing? Bring it into our studio and one of our jewellers can take a look and provide a quote.

Can you resize my ring? It’s one of the questions we’re asked most often.

In many cases, we can. Whether a much-loved ring has become too tight, too loose, or simply no longer fits the way it used to, resizing may be able to make it comfortable to wear again.

Every ring is different, though. Before we can confirm whether it can be resized and provide a price, one of our jewellers will need to assess the ring, including its metal, condition, stones, design, and whether it needs to go up or down in size.

And yes, we’re happy to assess rings that weren’t originally purchased from Jubilee Jewellers.

Does your favourite ring no longer fit quite right? Maybe your wedding ring has become a little too tight over the years, or a much-loved ring is now too loose to wear comfortably.

We offer professional ring resizing at our Wellington workshop, helping you get those special pieces comfortably back on your finger. The ring doesn’t need to have been purchased from Jubilee Jewellers. We’re happy to resize jewellery purchased elsewhere too.

The cost will depend on the ring, including the metal, gemstones and whether it needs to go up or down in size.

Can’t make it into our studio and workshop during the week? We get it. Between work, family and everything else, weekdays don't always work.

While we're usually closed on weekends, we do offer Saturday design consultations by appointment. We just ask that you book ahead so we can make sure one of our jewellers is available.

If you're not in Wellington, or weekends still don't suit, we're also happy to arrange a video consultation during the week.

We’re more of a rugby family in our studio (Go the Mighty Hurricanes 🟡⚫), but even we have to admit, the FIFA World Cup buzz has been pretty fun to see around our city.

NZ might be out of the World Cup this time around, but we can still celebrate how far the team got and what they achieved on the world stage.

Back in 2023, for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, Jubilee Jewellers created a sold out limited-edition soccer ball pendant.

We’re wondering if we should bring it back for another run? Comment below if you would like to see this little silver pendant return.
