We’re dancing with warm, delicious colour in a stunning testament to authentic craftsmanship, both on paper and in precious metal ✨

In a deliberate contrast to the muted winter tones on the outside, our wonderful new Wellington showroom windows are alive with warmth, colourful reflections, beauty and a sense of discovery on these cold winter days. Inspired by 11 of our stunning jewellery pieces, each of these stained glass inspired window illustrations were drawn entirely by hand by our very own talented illustrator, Kalos.

Rich with hidden details, colour and symbolism, each window is a shrine to a pictorial story of each of the 11 pieces of jewellery, the inspiration, the masterful detailing and the exceptional craftsmanship. All brought to life through the wonderful artistic talents of a gifted illustrator. Printed with care on clear vinyl and applied masterfully by our signage partners, , we are revelling in our glow within and we’d love for you to come in and do the same.

A beautiful surprise 💍

We had all the warm fuzzies the moment we saw Lily and Toby’s photos 🥰 From a thoughtfully designed ring to a quiet hike with surprise proposal, we love all the little details of this love story 🫶🏼

Our senior jewellery designer, Felicity, had the pleasure of guiding Toby from start to finish in creating the perfect bespoke engagement ring for Lily. Two halo designs caught Lily's eye, and Toby mindfully noted that. He quietly worked with Felicity, refining and considering every element from combining features from both rings, selecting the perfect centre stone to considering the size ratio of the halo.

"What truly stood out, though, was the care and reassurance they showed throughout the process, especially when I had some concerns around ring sizing. They were incredibly patient. The experience of creating it is something I'll always cherish”.

The Mesmerising Marquise 💍

Known fondly as ’Nanette’ or ‘little ship’ this stunning cut of diamond has roots firmly planted in royalty 👑 First cut around 1745 for King Louis XV of France who asked his jeweller to produce a diamond shaped like the lips of his mistress, the Marchioness Madame de Pompadour. The term ‘Marquise’ referred to her noble rank 💋

With 58 facets, the shape of the marquise cut emphasises the carat weight and has a larger surface area than other diamonds, making it appear around 15% larger than round diamonds. Marquise cuts can make the finger look more slim. These cuts were hugely popular in the 1970s and 1990s and have recently been making a well deserved resurgence 💫

Tribeca, a homage to the architectural lines of the Emerald Cut Diamond 🏙️💎
While on a trip to New York, our founder and Director, Ian Douglas, was inspired by the art deco charm and iconic skyscraper skyline of Tribeca to dream up this inimitable ring. Tribeca is a homage to the clean lines, structure and modern elegance of the New York landscape. In a stroke of genius, a stunning 1.00ct emerald cut diamond was chosen and placed centre stage in a striking tension setting.
A side view unveils meticulously designed and crafted architectural lines and geometric forms in white and yellow gold, creating a bold, frame-like composition that feels both considered and expressive. The unexpected square form of the ring adds yet another bold design expression to get lost in.
Tribeca is designed for discerning jewellery lovers and collectors who appreciate contemporary design and meticulous craftsmanship.

First invented in the 1500s for emeralds, but formally recognised as a diamond cut and celebrated in the Art Deco era, the emerald cut is a study in balance and proportion. Perfect for lovers of symmetry and clean architectural lines, the Emerald cuts long, parallel facets create a mesmerising ‘hall of mirrors’ effect.

With fewer, larger facets than most cuts, the emerald cut is beautifully honest. There is nowhere to hide any notable inclusions. For this very reason, our standard for emerald cut diamonds is uncompromising. We select only natural diamonds with exceptionally high grades for symmetry, cut and clarity.
