Story Time ✨
I posted some of our bag collections on Marketplace, and one person inquired about a bag. Our conversation wasn't very consistent. Sometimes she would reply the next day, and sometimes even the following week. Honestly, I thought the sale wouldn't push through.
Then one night, she suddenly messaged me and said she was in Cebu and checking into a hotel. It was around 8 pm. A little later, she asked if I could meet her at her hotel so she could see the bag in person. At that time, I was still in Ayala. Without much hesitation, I decided to go.
I arrived at her hotel around 10 PM. What I thought would be a quick transaction turned into something much more meaningful. We ended up having a long conversation about life, experiences, and lessons learned. She was incredibly kind, inspiring, and full of wisdom.
I got home around 11 pm, carrying not just a successful sale but also valuable life lessons from someone who was once a complete stranger.
This experience reminded me that sometimes, strangers are the ones who genuinely appreciate and support your business more than friends or family. Every now and then, a simple sale can turn into an unexpected and meaningful connection.
