What started as a little escape from the hustle & bustle of General Luna in Siargao led to a love affair with the idyllic sanctuary of the north. Here are 4 reasons why you’ll fall for this enchanting paradise: 1- It has something magical & healing to it—the further north you go, the more you will see and feel it. Nature around here with oceanside roads are just captivating. 2- If you’re anything like me who embraces serene, local vibes, charming restaurants (yes, even with veggie options!), secluded beaches, and uncrowded surf breaks - the north is for you. 3- It’s a ‚everyone knows everyone kinda environment‘ so here you really have the chance to connect to a small, beautiful community. One thing that I just have to highlight is , an NGO empowering local communities—check their beachfront restaurant, yoga and consider volunteering. 4- Amazing sunsets over the ocean (you don’t get that in the south!), whether you’re surfing into the golden hour or simply basking on the beach. 🤍
