The ARMOR
“I imagined the studio to be deep sea explorers where we discovered a kingdom found in the deepest trenches of the sea. And in that kingdom, we found a thriving culture of merfolk. We interacted with them and discovered objects created by them where science and magic seem to be one.” - Neil Felipp
After our participation at Révélations Biennale 2025 at the heart of the Grand Palais, Paris where we exhibited the ”Constellation 1.0”, a three-piece sculpture where we integrated 3D technology and the local craft of shell inlaying, we look further from sculpture to the wearable.
The ARMOR was a 5 month project where we 3D modeled, printed and then intricately inlaid by hand using PAUA abalone. Through this ARMOR, we are thrilled for it is only beginning of the endless possibilities with 3D technology and the local craft of the Philippines.
It is currently on dispay at the “Cabinets of Curiosities” experience in R2 (Beside Aranaz), Powerplant Mall, Makati City, PH
