Honestly, these are the kinds of custom orders that stay with me 🥺

We make so many pieces for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, new babies, and all the happy milestones. But sometimes, someone asks us to make a piece for something much harder to put into words.

Which one do you think is fake? 👀

After our bank confirmed that the bill we received was fake, we learned a few things to look out for that we wanted to share with you:

TIP 1: ✨ Check the shiny seal
It should show different colors as you tilt it in the light. It shouldn’t just look like one flat, glittery color.

TIP 2: 💸 Check the security strip
The strip with “BSP” and the denomination should have a dynamic effect that changes as you tilt the bill, rather than looking like one flat printed color.

TIP 3: 🔎 Hold it up to the light
Look at the portrait. On a genuine bill, the image shouldn’t appear as a dark, heavily outlined version.

TIP 4: ✨ Move the bill around
The shine on the denomination should move or change as you tilt the bill. It shouldn’t look like the shine was simply printed or painted on.
