Ang dami na nating beses narinig 'yan, and if we're honest, parang minsan nakakapagod na rin pakinggan. Kasi madaling sabihin ang โtrust the processโ kapag hindi ikaw ang nasa gitna nito. Pero kapag ikaw na mismo ang naghihintay, umiiyak, nagtitiis, at nagtatanong kay Lord ng โhanggang kailan?โโiba na.
Because truthfully? Masakit ang process.
Masakit ang process ng paghihintay. Yung alam mong ginawa mo naman lahat, nag-pray ka naman, nagtiwala ka naman, pero parang wala pa ring nangyayari. Yung tipong nakikita mong may breakthroughs ang iba habang ikaw parang nasa loading screen pa rin ng buhay.
Masakit ang process ng acceptance. Accepting things you never wanted to lose. Accepting closed doors, changed plans, broken relationships, or realities you prayed would be different. Hindi madaling tanggapin ang mga bagay na hindi aligned sa plano ng puso mo.
Masakit din ang process ng becoming.
Even becoming a leader isn't easy. People see the platform, but they don't see the pressure. They see confidence, but not the tears, the self-doubt, and the moments you questioned yourself behind closed doors.
Even pregnancy itself is a process. People celebrate the baby shower and the cute photos, but they don't always see the nausea, the sleepless nights, the discomfort, and the body changes happening in the background.
Even wedding preparationโakala mo puro kilig at excitement lang. But ask people who went through it. May budget concerns, adjustments, misunderstandings, stress, planning, and patience involved. The beautiful wedding day everyone sees? May countless unseen moments behind it.
And isn't life like that too?
We celebrate people's success, answered prayers, healed hearts, and breakthroughs. But most of the time, we only see the highlight reel. We don't see the nights they cried. We don't see the prayers they whispered while everyone else was sleeping. We don't see the silent battles, the stretching seasons, and the moments they wanted to give up.
Because before every destination, there is always a ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ-๐๐ต๐ฒ-๐๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ season.
And that's called ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐.
Romans 5:3โ4 says: โWe can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.โ
Notice how God works. He doesn't skip steps. He doesn't say pain immediately produces hope. No. Thereโs a process. Perseverance. Character. Hope.
Because God is not only interested in where you're goingโHe deeply cares about who you're becoming while getting there. And maybe that's why process hurts. Because God is shaping things in us that comfort could never teach.
- The waiting teaches trust.
- The heartbreak teaches surrender.
- The leadership teaches humility.
- The preparation teaches patience.
- The pain teaches dependence on Him.
And one day, when you finally reach the place you've been praying for, you'll probably look back and realize something: ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฎ๐๐ป'๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ป๐น๐ ๐บ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐น๐ฒ.
You becoming stronger, wiser, softer, and closer to God was also part of the miracle.
And if you're currently in a season that feels slow, uncomfortable, or painful, don't rush it. Because one day you'll look back and say:
"๐๐ค๐ง๐, ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ช ๐๐ค๐ง ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐ง๐ค๐๐๐จ๐จ. ๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ฉ ๐ฌ๐๐๐ก๐ ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐จ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐ฉ, ๐๐ช๐ฉ ๐ฃ๐ค๐ฌ ๐ ๐จ๐๐โฆ ๐๐ฉ ๐ข๐๐๐ ๐ข๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ค ๐ ๐๐ข ๐ฉ๐ค๐๐๐ฎ."
