A seller traveled all the way from Cebu to meet with a buyer who happened to be a watch dealer.

During the negotiation, the seller was told that the bracelet was AFTERMARKET and was offered only about HALF of the watch’s ACTUAL VALUE.

Wanting to be sure before making a decision, the seller brought the watch to Watch A Holic for inspection.

The result? Everything was ORIGINAL. ✅

Had the seller accepted the offer without verification, he could have sold his watch for significantly less than its true worth based on an incorrect assessment.

❌ Copy Watch Alert ❌

A buyer purchased a pre-owned Cartier watch and was even provided with an authentication receipt from another watch repair shop by the seller.

For added peace of mind, the watch was brought to Watchaholic and Cartier Service Center for verification.

Surprisingly, the watch did not even pass Watch A Holic’s metal analysis test. From the case alone, the metal composition was found to be inconsistent with that of an original Cartier watch and movement specs different from original.

Further inspection confirmed the verdict: not original.

This is a reminder that documents and receipts are not always enough. Proper authentication involves examining the actual watch - by EXPERT authenticator using HIGH STANDARD EQUIPMENT to check watch materials and construction to its movement and components.
