WHAT’S MEANT FOR YOU WILL ALWAYS BE YOURS.

Fr. Jerry reminds us that we don’t have to live our lives constantly afraid of losing what is meant for us. Sometimes, we hold on too tightly because we are scared that if we let go, we will lose something important.

There are moments when we compare our lives with others and wonder why they seem to have what we’ve been praying for. We start questioning ourselves, worrying that maybe we are falling behind or that our chance has already passed.

But not everything we lose is meant to stay. Some things leave because they have already served their purpose in our lives. And some things take time because God is preparing them for the right moment.

So don’t exhaust yourself trying to force people, opportunities, or situations to stay. Do your part, pray about it, and trust God enough to release what you cannot control. What is truly meant for you will not require you to destroy your peace just to keep it.

Keep trusting God’s timing and His plan for your life. What is meant for you will find its way to you, and what is not meant for you will make room for something better. You don’t have to chase what God has already chosen for you.

“WHAT’S MEANT FOR YOU WILL ALWAYS BE YOURS.”
- Rev. Fr. Jerry Orbos, SVD

The Father's words remind us that God's plans are always greater than our own. What He has prepared for you cannot be taken away by anyone, as long as you continue to trust and follow His will. Instead of worrying or comparing yourself with others, remain faithful and patient. In God's perfect time, what is meant for you will come according to His loving plan.

Trust God's timing. His plans are always worth waiting for.🙏

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your sacrifice and for rising again in victory. Fill my heart with Your peace, renew my faith, and remind me that nothing is impossible with You. Help me walk in Your light and live each day with hope and purpose. Amen. 🙌🌙✨

Black Saturday Prayer

Lord, on this Black Saturday, we remember Your suffering and Your love.

Thank You because by Your wounds, we are healed, and by Your sacrifice, we are saved.

“But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

When our hearts feel tired, help us trust You in the silence.

Remind us that even when life feels quiet, You are still working.

Even when we cannot see it yet,
You are already making a way.

Fill us with peace while we wait, healing for the parts of us that are hurting, and hope for the days ahead.

Thank You, Lord, because the story does not end in darkness.

Amen.

This Palm Sunday, let this remind you:

A lot can change in a week.

Jesus was praised, then betrayed, denied, and crucified… and still, He rose.

So if things feel heavy right now, don’t lose hope. This is not the end for you.

“At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” — Isaiah 60:22

If it hasn’t happened yet, it doesn’t mean it won’t. It just means God is still working.

Trust His timing. He knows when is the best time to answer your prayers.
