During her visit the owner of Sparkling Stones had the privilege of briefing Her Excellency on the rich and remarkable world of precious and semi precious stones found in Gilgit-Baltistan region blessed with extraordinary geological treasures and a centuries old connection with the mountains
Her Excellency showed great interest in the unique gemstones of our region and in the potential of Gilgit-Baltistan's precious-stone sector to promote local craftsmanship sustainable livelihoods tourism and international recognition
