The weather got us again… This year has been challenging for so many vendors attending outdoor weekend events. That’s right—there’s no controlling Mother Nature!

Friday was beautiful, and Saturday brought strong winds, but plenty of people still came by to visit. Unfortunately, Sunday’s show was canceled due to the weather. Even so, we met so many wonderful people over those two days and enjoyed some great conversations.

A big thank-you to Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art for hosting this wonderful art show! We were impressed by how well organized everything was, and we truly appreciate all the hard work that went into making this event happen.

We’d love to come back next year!

The VB MOCA Art Show was cut short due to the weather, and unfortunately, Sunday’s show was canceled. Although we only had two days, we were so happy to meet so many wonderful people!

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who stopped by our booth, took the time to explore our creations, and showed interest in our work. Your support means so much to us!

Did you know we have a bird collection, too? 🐦

When we lived in Costa Rica, we were surrounded by incredible wildlife—and some of the most unforgettable were the birds. The vivid colors, unique shapes, and beauty of parrots, toucans, and hummingbirds stayed with me and eventually became inspiration for these pieces.

Each one is hand-sculpted and crafted with the same attention to detail as our ocean-inspired jewelry.

5 things that I didn’t know when we started making Gamefish rings...

1. I didn’t know many women would love our Game Fish rings.

2. I didn’t know everyone buying a fish ring would be a fisherman.

3. I didn’t know a lot of fishermen don’t wear rings.

4. I didn’t know the fish you catch isn’t necessarily the fish you want to wear. 😂

5. I didn’t know some people wear rings on their thumb.

Recently, we’ve been working on new pendant pieces to add to our collection.

We’ve had several requests for pendants, and slowly but surely, we’re making progress!

Each piece begins as a hand-waxed sculpture, then is scanned into the computer so we can create and test different sizes with 3D-printed mockups. Once we find the right proportions, the final piece is cast in metal and finished by hand.

Here are our Flounder/Fluke Pendants in three different sizes, paired with different chains so you can see how each one looks when worn.

The chain style and length can be customized, or you can purchase the pendant on its own and add it to your favorite chain.

Designed as a unisex piece, the Flounder Pendant is for anyone who appreciates this unique species and the stories that come with it.
