Pro tip for travelers: you don’t need a watch winder if you have a motorcycle.

This isn’t theory - it’s tested in the outdoors.

During a week of riding off-road through Morocco, the two Vespera GMT watches rotated between my wrist and a travel roll in the luggage.

After wearing the Vespera Dark for a few days, I picked up the Ember from the roll... and it was still running perfectly. Fully wound, just from the constant movement of the bike across rough terrain.

Conclusion?
A motorcycle works well... as a watch winder.
