The Michael Kors brand, belonging to the fashion company Michael Kors Holdings Limited, was founded by the designer of the same name in 1981. In his teens, Michael Kors (real name Karl Anderson, Jr.) showed his talent. its design. He attended the New York Fashion Institute of Technology in 1977. He dropped out after only 9 months and worked at a retail chain store Bergdorf Goodman (57th Street). Here, designer Michael Kors had the opportunity to sell his designs in a small space, then luckily discovered and bought his designs by fashion director Dawn Mello of Bergdorf Goodman. After that, Michael Kors was invited to design for Celine's Ready to Wear womenswear line since 1997. In October 2003, leaving Celine's house, Michael Kors focused on revitalizing his own brand. after launching a menswear line in 2002. By the end of this year (2016), the Michael Kors brand is 35 years old and is on a steady track with hundreds of stores worldwide. In January 2014, Forbes magazine announced that designer Michael Kors had a huge personal fortune, becoming a billionaire of the American fashion industry.
