It’s late summer and it all feels surreal.

Every time you look out the window, the sun keeps splashing the sky with the most vivid hues and colors. It’s a an eternal sunset that changes before your eyes.

You go outside and gently breathe in, allowing this glowing breeze to fill your lungs. This dreamy scent plants itself into your mind and you enjoy tasting every bit of it. Nuances and shades keep on moving all around you, in this wild untamed shimmer.

You close your eyes and on the back of your eyelids, colors start forming ideas. You keep them shut and immerse yourself in this magical movement. Enchanted by it, you don’t need to understand anymore. You look at the sun again, and in this very moment, just before your eyes, it blooms.

Seeing this ring finished brings so much happiness. I firstly experimented with this motif of the flower during the classes with Il Maestro Aquafresca, last autumn. And guided by him, I created a small capsule collection in which I learned a lot about the movement of the metal. The whole week became a core memory for me, and these few flower inspired pieces of jewellery that I will post here, are full of the joy, curiosity and playfulness I experienced while learning to work using chasing and repousse. I cannot thank you enough and ! This technique has become the most comfortable way of self expression and I treasure it deeply! 🥂to all the beautiful sunsets we all spent in Tuscany with the class and hopefully to many more!

Not a Boiling Frog” Pendant 🐸

“Felt like a boiling frog.

Cool water. You remember those distant warm summer days, the feeling of cool water running on your skin. Running in the rain felt so invigorating. Just like staying up until sunrise and then taking a walk through that humid morning rain. You felt alive, felt some sort of warmth from within and cherished every moment of it intensely.

And now you feel it again, that familiar scent which brought so much joy and sparkles in your eyes. Only that now it’s different.

You don’t even know how, but guided by it you got here. Iciest, most deserted place on earth, with the scent of cool water. Feels familiar but it’s all bleak. No sunrise here. It’s steamy and without a spark of light. You can barely breathe. Everything is frozen. You linger for a bit and reminisce. All those memories play before your eyes and you hang on to them.

Suddenly it’s getting warm. It gives hope. So you stay for a bit longer. And without even noticing, it all burns like hell. The heaviest of pains sharpens its way into everything, out of everything. Bone aching, burning icy water makes you see the breath getting out of your lungs.

Grasping for air you wake up confused because it felt real. It all hurts still. But just like that, the worst nightmare ended and you’re awake and breathing.


Sometimes the best way of figuring out who you are is defining who you are not. 

Just as seal rings used to reflect status, belonging, carrying generational and personal history, this middle finger signet ring is crafted to show the opposite: who you are not. Inspired by the Boiling Frog apologue, it acts as a reminder to double check every now and then how you are feeling. It is a genuine reminder that familiarity sometimes means to gather all your strength and jump out of it.”
