Originally recorded in the notebooks of the Saudi visual artist F a h a d Alnaymah, the form is derived not as an image, but as a trace — a line that walks, leaves its mark, then disappears.

In this collaborative work, that trace shifts from paper into m e t a l, from surface into b o d y. What is worn here is not ornament, but the memory of movement.

When not worn, the brooch rests within Bambi AnnRé’s p l e x i g l a s s display structure, existing equally as wearable art and as a sculptural object.

"Al Khuf" Brooch
In Dialogue Collection

Revealed on 28.01.2026 at Ink and Paper, the Artists’ Books exhibition at JAX District, Riyadh.

Al Khuf Brooch is an art jewelry object conceived as a wearable sculpture — a miniature artwork that moves between the body and space.

When not worn, the piece transforms into a collectible sculptural object, designed to be displayed within Bambi AnnRé’s signature plexiglass display structure, allowing it to exist beyond adornment.

This work emerged through a close collaborative dialogue between Bambi AnnRé and the Saudi visual artist Fahad Alnaymah, drawing directly from Fahad’s original sketch — not as an image, but as a trace. A line that moves, leaves a mark, and disappears. In this translation, the trace shifts from paper to metal, from surface to body.

تم العرض الاول لبروش "الخف" في 28.01.2026 ضمن معرض "حبر و ورق"، معرض دفاتر الفنانين، في حي جاكس، الرياض.

بروش "الخف" هو حلية فنية صُمممت بوصفها منحوتة قابلة للارتداء، انه عمل فني مصغّر يتحرّك بين الجسد والفراغ.

يعد هذا العمل الفني (عند عدم ارتدائه) منحوتة فنيه قابلة للإقتناء، مهيئة للعرض داخل هيكل خاص ومميز التصميم من مادة الأكريلك والذي تنفرد في تصميمه Bambi AnnRé، ليتجاوز مفهوم الزينة والحلي ويستمر كعمل فني قائم بذاته.

نشأ هذا العمل من خلال حوار تعاوني بين Bambi AnnRé والفنان التشكيلي السعودي فهد النعيمه، انطلاقاً من رسم فهد الابداعي .. ليس بوصفه صورة، بل أثراً .. خط يتحرّك، يترك علامة، ثم يختفي.
وفي هذا العمل الفني، ينتقل الأثر من الورق إلى المعدن، ومن السطح إلى الجسد.

قُدّم العمل لأول مرة كجزء من الأعمال المعروضة للفنان فهد النعيمه ضمن معرض "حبر و ورق"،برعاية القيّمة غيداء المقرن، إلى جانب دفاتر الفنانين لكل من الفنان التشكيلي محمد الشمري والفنان التشكيلي فهد النعيمه.

A trace, repeated ..
A memory, multiplied ..

𝗔𝗹 𝗞𝗵𝘂𝗳 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗰𝗵, born from a visual dialogue with the work of 𝗙𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗮𝗵.

Part of my ongoing project 𝗜𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲, where an artwork shifts from paper into wearable sculpture.

Today, the full edition travels to Riyadh —appearing at 𝗜𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿, the 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀’ 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 exhibition
curated by 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗾𝗿𝗮𝗻, at JAX Studio J02a on January 28, 2026.

Presented within Fahad Alnaymah’s exhibited body of work, as a collaborative extension of the original artwork.

𝗪 𝗶 𝗻 𝗱 𝗨 𝗽 𝗣 𝗶 𝗻

𝗔 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 — 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Working with artists has been in my heart for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been surrounded by creative friends — visual artist, sculptors, dreamers. And each time I saw their work, I’d imagine: what if this form could be transformed into something wearable? Into a piece of 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗷𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗿𝘆 that carries their story and spirit?

✨️ This brooch is the b e g i n n i n g of that journey ✨️

Inspired by the brilliant Mohammed Alshammarey and his Wind Up project, I reimagined the wind-up toy key into a 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 that can be worn or displayed — as a reminder of motion, memory, and meaning.

Each 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗽 𝗣𝗶𝗻 is presented in a custom 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝘅 and engraved with our initials, its 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, and the 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸. It comes with a signed certificate showing the edition and purchase date.
