Over the centuries W.A. Bolin has been Court Jeweller to five Russian tsars and three Swedish kings. The Bolin family, originally from Gothenburg and Stockholm, first established itself as jewellers in St. Petersburg and then expanded to Moscow before moving to Stockholm in 1916, the year before the Russian revolution. Bolin is also one of few contemporary jewellers with its own studio, located on
the same premises as the Stureplan shop in Stockholm, where experienced and extremely gifted goldsmiths make jewellery for W.A. Bolin’s own collection and on commission. The shop also sells carefully selected jewellery and objects made by other designers as well as unique vintage jewellery. In addition to its own shop and its own collection, W.A. Bolin also stages Northern Europe’s leading auctions for quality jewellery, silver objects and precious ornaments. These are held twice a year, in April and November. Bolin has been a family-owned company for 222 years. This tradition guarantees expertise, stability and personal dedication.
