This necklace got a new owner last Friday in Brussels. A special piece of jewelry made for a special person.
A person I have a unique connection to and who sent me so many beautiful things🇧🇴🎶. We share the same interest in playing the piano and it was amazing to see and hear you play live last Friday. You are such a talented pianist and I love everything you play especially songs from Bolivian composers. You asked me to braid your hair the same morning and I felt so honored that you wanted to wear my gift when you did your premiere performance with these piano pieces. This is also the first Chakana jewelry I made with an Amethys stone.

I love making jewelry but making practical things that one can use in everyday life is also a lot of fun. These can be made in different sizes and I’ve made them in silver, copper and brass.

Yesterday a friend invited me for lunch. It’s a new friendship and I wanted to bring a thank you gift. I know she reads books and so I made a bookmark in brass.
