I am part of the artist group MELT. Tomorrow we open our exhibition The Materiality of Memory at c/o Daughters, Havregatan 12. The exhibition is part of Stockholm Craft week Stockholm Craft Week 30/9-4/10 2026.

MELT is an artist group consisting of three jewellery artists, each holding a master’s degree from Konstfack CRAFT! Since their launch in 2021, they have initiated and produced exhibitions and talks, as well as invited other artists to collaborate. They work to create spaces where craft can thrive, both in Sweden and internationally. Together, they form a platform for dialogue and artist development, with jewellery and craft as their shared starting point.

I made a silver brooch with fabric from Bolivia. Handmade with extra love and care as a gift to a special person I met for the first time yesterday.

It was time.
I reached out.
You answered.
I was invited to someone’s home.
You welcomed me with warmth and curiosity.
You made me feel everything this brooch represents.
I will never forget.

A handmade silver pendant with a Lapis lazuli stone. A special birthday gift to my mother. She got it two days ago when celebrating her birthday at Restaurang J in Nacka.

For each birthday or Christmas I made her a pendant. The stone Lapis lazuli is one of her favourites. These pendants also has become an opportunity for me to experiment with techniques and design, making it into a challenge to see what I can create. This is the most difficult piece of jewellery I’ve made and also it has taking the longest time to make. Each flower and each flower petal is hand sawed and shaped. Each one has then been soldered to the stem separately before setting the stone. A work of craft and a real soldering challenge. It’s special to be able to come up with a design and then step by step start building it in silver to finally have the finished piece. It’s easy to melt and make parts fall off when soldering all these pieces one by one. I am very proud of what I made and very happy it was appreciated.

When I am asked to make something for someone for a special occasion I feel very honoured. People let me be part of their life story and that is such an honor which I value immensely. A new found friends’s partner picked up a custom made bracelet to his daughter yesterday. Thank you so much for choosing to buy a piece of handmade jewelry from me🙏🏽. This necklace got a new owner last Friday in Brussels. A special piece of jewelry made for a special person.
A person I have a unique connection to and who sent me so many beautiful things🇧🇴🎶. We share the same interest in playing the piano and it was amazing to see and hear you play live last Friday. You are such a talented pianist and I love everything you play especially songs from Bolivian composers. You asked me to braid your hair the same morning and I felt so honored that you wanted to wear my gift when you did your premiere performance with these piano pieces. This is also the first Chakana jewelry I made with an Amethys stone.

Bookmarks, handmade in silver and brass.
I love making jewelry but making practical things that one can use in everyday life is also a lot of fun. These can be made in different sizes and I’ve made them in silver, copper and brass.

Yesterday a friend invited me for lunch. It’s a new friendship and I wanted to bring a thank you gift. I know she reads books and so I made a bookmark in brass.
