Natural art with an attitude epitomises Märta Larsson, where inspiration from the wild nature of the Swedish landscape collides with creativity and decadence to create a truly unique brand. Founder Märta Larsson established her namesake and now international label in 2013 following her eclectic background of training as a ballet dancer and time spent as the lead singer in a rock’n’roll band in London. Inspired by the pristine yet rugged nature of Lapland where Märta was raised, the label was launched with one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces, hand-crafted from raw stones hand-picked by Märta herself; stones including pyrite, black tourmaline, quartz, amethyst and lapis were then transformed into unique pieces, hard-bound by metals for an unexpected edge. Following the success of Märta’s jewellery designs, the RTW collection was launched in 2018 offering trans-seasonal silk separates and luxurious kaftans, adorned with abstract prints generated from the unique stones that resonate so closely to the heart of the label.
