The new Mido Watches Ocean Star 200 carries forward the spirit of a collection born in 1944, shaped by MIDO’s longstanding expertise in water resistance.

Housed in a 41 mm satin-finished and polished stainless steel case, the timepiece features a blue grained dial with luminous indexes and hands for exceptional legibility in all conditions. Its unidirectional rotating bezel is marked with large silver-toned numerals and a luminescent marker at 12 o’clock, meeting the essential demands of a diver’s watch. At 3 o’clock, the date aperture blends seamlessly into the dial, while MIDO’s signature orange accent on the seconds hand adds a distinctive touch of character.

The Longines Master Collection enters a new chapter with a comprehensive refinement of its design language, reimagining the dial, hands, bezel, bracelet, and overall aesthetic while preserving the elegance that defines the collection.

At the heart of the redesign is a distinctive barleycorn-pattern dial, creating depth and texture through a motif that shifts subtly with the light. Depending on the model, the pattern is paired with luminous mother-of-pearl dials set with diamond indexes, silver-toned surfaces with applied Arabic numerals, or blue dial variations that emphasise clarity and contrast. Newly designed hands and a sculpted concave bezel further reinforce the collection’s contemporary yet timeless character.

Each watch is powered by an exclusive Longines automatic movement equipped with a silicon balance spring. Complemented by redesigned bracelets and leather straps featuring micro-adjustment systems, the collection reflects a considered approach to both mechanical performance and everyday elegance.

The Longines PrimaLuna collection expands with four distinctive 30 mm interpretations, continuing its enduring expression of feminine elegance through refined design and delicate detailing.

Three references feature mother-of-pearl dials in green, midnight blue, and white, enhanced by a cloisonné-style technique in which fine metal wires define the hour ring and create depth across the iridescent surface. Fifteen diamond indexes add subtle brilliance, while a date display at 6 o’clock completes the composition. A fourth model adopts a more classical expression, pairing silver sunray and semi-matte finishes with painted blue Roman numerals that accentuate the dial’s layered character.

Powering the collection is the Longines exclusive calibre L592.5, a self-winding mechanical movement equipped with a silicon balance spring and offering a power reserve of up to 45 hours.

Grand Seiko expands the Evolution 9 Collection with the Spring Drive U.F.A. Ushio 300 Diver, combining compact proportions with exceptional precision. Measuring 40.8 mm, it is the brand’s most compact diver’s watch to date and is powered by the newly developed Spring Drive Caliber 9RB1, continuing the U.F.A. (Ultra Fine Accuracy) lineage first presented in 2025.

The collection presents two interpretations of the “Ushio” dial, inspired by the waters surrounding the Japanese archipelago. Meaning “tide” in Japanese, ushio reflects the changing character of the sea: the blue dial evokes the ocean’s depth through a graduated play of light and shadow, while the green dial draws from the clarity and calmness of shallow coastal waters.
